DISINFECTION PROTOCOL
Sterilization (disinfection) is the fundamental basis of a hygienic patient friendly well equipped dental clinic operatory with state of the art dental technology. It is a process by which cross infection is prevented, disposable or single use dental items are discarded and rest of the dental equipments and dental instruments are thoroughly cleaned and processed to become completely germ- free (bacteria, virus, spores, debris) before its use in the next dental procedure.
The sterilization protocol for dental treatments at IVORIES DENTAL CLINIC & IMPLANT CENTER are at par with the standardization laid down by the International dental regulatory bodies of AMERICAN DENTAL ASSOCIATION, BRITISH DENTAL COUNCIL, AUSTRALIAN DENTAL ASSOCIATION.
At ivories, the plastic items like SUCTION TIPS, DENTAL INJECTION SYRINGE NEEDLE, DENTAL MASKS, DENTAL GLOVES, DENTAL HEAD CAPS, DISPOSABLE GLASS ,are strictly used only once for one patient and then they are immediately discarded after their dental examination or dental procedure. In fact, the seal of the fresh syringe is opened in front of the patient before a dental treatment is initiated to ensure the code of conduct for sterilization at the dental center.
